- What should I check before buying a wheel?
- Match the wheel size, brake system, axle standard, and hub spacing to your bike. For a rear wheel, also check that its freehub accepts your cassette. The brand name alone does not establish compatibility.
- Will any cassette fit a rear wheel?
- No. Check the cassette's specified freehub or driver type against the wheel. Also confirm the drivetrain speed count and the manufacturer's compatibility instructions.
